Job Description:
Duties:
- Provide excellent instruction and facilitate student engagement.
- Provide grades and feedback on progress throughout the semester.
- Strive for student success in preparing to enter the professional Graphic Design field.
- Cover the required technical and theoretical aspects of the syllabus.
- Maintain student attendance records.
- Submit interim and final grades by published deadlines.
- Each class meets twice weekly. Each class period is 1 hour and 50 minutes.
- The Fall '22 semester starts on August 29. Last class is December 12.
- Graphic Design is scheduled for Tuesday/Thursday, 12:00-1:50.
- Advanced Graphic Design is scheduled for Monday/Wednesday 11:00-12:50
- Typography is scheduled for Monday/Wednesday 1:00-2:50
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Graphic Design or a related area
- Professional experience in Graphic Design
- Expert skills in InDesign and Illustrator and a working knowledge of Photoshop
- Experience teaching at college-level
- Experience with a learning management system such as Blackboard
- In-person classroom instruction (although online classes are also a possibility)
