Position Summary

The Department of Economics invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professorship beginning September 2022, with Ph.D. completed by August 2022. We seek a macroeconomist committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching to join a community of diverse students and faculty, who come from all socio-economic, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds, across the US and internationally. Trinity is a liberal arts college with 2,200 students located in, and engaged with, Connecticut’s capital city of Hartford. The yearly 5-course teaching load will include two courses in modern macroeconomics at the junior level and a macroeconomics course at the sophomore level. The position starts in September 2022.

Applicants who require an H-1 B visa cannot be considered for temporary positions. Applicants for non-tenure-track, temporary positions who require sponsorship for visas other than an H-1 B visa will be required to pay all costs associated with visa applications.
