Department Physical Science

Position Summary:

Provides efficient secretarial support, reception and communications services.

Primary Duties Performed:

Greet and assist students entering the department. Provides primary secretarial and administrative support for an office; monitors budgets; prepares logs, forms, and calendars; maintains complex record-keeping and filing systems; compiles statistical data/information. Performs normal secretarial functions.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) months of full-time secretarial experience. Must pass skills assessment at the basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Over one (1) year of full-time secretarial experience. Familiarity with academic management software (Banner). Experience with database software.

Salary Range:

$32,710.00 Minimum
