Job Description:
The Fairfield University Department of Psychology is accepting applications from qualified candidates for lecturers to teach semester-long, in-person courses for the department’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology master’s degree program.
Fall 2022: Team Processes. The course will be taught in-person and is scheduled for the Fall 2022 semester at 7:15-9:15pm on Thursday evenings (first class session on September 8, 2022; semester ends December 21, 2022). This course educates students about the importance of teamwork and collaboration in the modern workplace. Drawing on the literature from management and social psychology, this course provides knowledge about team dynamic and common team challenges, as well as practice to develop their own teamwork skills.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field (e.g., Management, Education) is required.
Relevant professional experience (e.g., consulting, coaching) and previous teaching/training experience is desired.
