Description

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at DePauw University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Neuroscience. Rank is open and will be based on the successful candidate's experience. The Doctoral degree at the time of appointment is preferred, while ABD will be considered. The search is open to candidates in any area of neuroscience who are committed to teaching at an undergraduate liberal arts university, and establishing a program of research that actively engages students. Teaching load is 6 courses per year (3/3 plus a 0.5 credit extended studies course once every three years), and will include Neuroscience and Behavior, introductory and upper level courses in neuroscience or psychology including Research Methods or Statistics. We especially seek candidates who will increase the department's commitment to inclusion, equity, and diversity through their research, teaching, mentoring and/or lived experience.
