Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics (1-year term)

Description

The Department of Mathematics at DePauw University invites applications for a one-year term position beginning on August 15 2022 at the rank of Assistant Professor. Ph.D. (completed by August 2022) in Mathematics or a closely related field required. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The department specifically seeks candidates to teach Calculus I, II and III, Linear Algebra and Operation Research. Teaching assignment is three courses in Fall and three in Spring, so a total of six with a combination of lower and upper level courses per year, and funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
