Position Title Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track), Worship Arts and Ministry / Program Director, Worship Arts Division Position Summary
The Collinsworth School of Music at California Baptist University invites applications for a full-time position in Worship Studies. Duties will include the administrative management of the Worship Arts division and the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in worship theology, worship arts, strategic worship planning, organizational leadership, and pastoral ministry. Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have an earned graduate degree in worship studies from an accredited institution or commensurate experience in the field. Further desired qualifications include experience in local church worship ministry and experience teaching at the university level. Teaching Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching courses related to worship ministry and providing leadership as the Program Director of the Worship Arts division. The candidate will also be expected to maintain an active program of scholarship in the field and service to the university and community.
