Olympic College is seeking part time, Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in Digital Filmmaking (Production/Post-Production Specialization).

Olympic College is home to award-winning Associate and Applied Baccalaureate degree programs in Filmmaking. The programs combine the more traditional theory approaches of film studies with extensive hands-on instruction and active student engagement in each course. OC is seeking an adjunct faculty member in the area of digital filmmaking. This faculty member would teach one or two multiple level courses in short film production (pre-production, principal photography, and post-production), post-production (non-linear editing, post-production audio mixing, color correction, and distribution deliverables), cinematography (theory and hands-on practice), and/or Virtual Reality/360°. Emphasis is on the technical and artistic elements of digital filmmaking, with a concentration on narrative storytelling.

Olympic College's Filmmaking department features a media production studio, dedicated editing suites, a sound stage, all new film production equipment, a screening theatre, and Mac computers with industry software. Our program grants Associate and Applied Bachelor's degrees in filmmaking, is taught by current and former industry professionals, and currently enrolls over 200+ students a quarter. We are looking for an adjunct faculty member to help support our programs as we take the film production side of our programs to the next level.
