Vacancy Number: S-00861 Position Title: Freelance Graphic Designer Classification Title: Department: Marketing Employment Type: Part-Time Duties and Responsibilities:
The marketing team of Auburn University at Montgomery is seeking freelance graphic designers. This position is project-based, estimating as little as 3 hours a week up to 15, depending on the AUM workload and the help that is needed. The ideal candidate will take direction from the Senior Production Manager in completing the following responsibilities:

• Design publications, media and other assets for clients across the University.
• Collaborate with Marketing staff to develop effective visual communications to reach targeted audiences.
• Provide graphic design for AUM website, e-newsletters, and other web publications and new emerging digital media, as needed.
• Creation/delivery of accurate designs on schedule.
• Ability to shift direction as needed and continue

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC.
• Strong sense of design for a variety of mediums.
• Strong knowledge of typography best practices
• Familiarity with Pageproof or Clickup, a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualification:
2-4 years design experience

Additionally, the candidate must provide a link to the online portfolio (including password) or provide PDF samples of recent social media campaigns/design or other digital marketing campaigns.
