The School of International Service (SIS) invites applications for adjunct faculty to lead a 3-credit online graduate course for the International Relations Online Program. Degrees offered online include Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR), Master of International Service Executive Program (MIS), and Master of Science in International Relations and Business (MSIRB). Courses are fully online and offered over 15-week terms (MAIR and MIS) and 10-week terms (MSIRB). All online courses are hybrid, comprised of asynchronous content and synchronous sessions lead weekly by adjunct faculty.

Position responsibilities include navigating the 2IR LMS and facilitating live sessions on the Zoom platform, supporting student needs, completing all grading, and developing session plans with faculty coordinators and other section leaders to provide a high quality interactive learning experience for students. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold online office hours, provide assignment feedback, and consult with the designated faculty coordinators regarding the progress of the class. Live sessions complement the asynchronous content and adjunct faculty are expected to develop session activities that incorporate asynchronous content. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to, international relations theory, economics, quantitative methods, project design, monitoring and evaluation, intercultural communication, security, foreign policy, international negotiation, conflict resolution, international development, and statistics.
