Job Summary: HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, invites applicants for a tenure-track position in Architecture/Building Construction Management beginning in the fall semester of 2022. The successful candidate will serve a primary role in both the Architecture and Building Construction Management AAS degree programs including teaching, curriculum development and review, assessment and program improvement.

This position will teach courses covering a variety of topics such as architectural design; site planning; creating presentation drawings, working drawings, and building models using AutoCAD and Revit; and construction materials and methods.

Full-time faculty members teach 15 credit hours each fall and spring semester with small class sizes. There is potential to teach additional courses each semester and during the summer term for pay in addition to the base salary. The position will be based on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus and will be expected to teach some courses on-campus in Harrisburg, PA, and some courses remote (via Zoom) and/or asynchronously online.

Full-time faculty are responsible for teaching, student academic advising, professional development, and service to the college and the department, which includes serving on committees, participating in assessment of curriculum, and supporting equity-minded student success initiatives. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Willingness to teach day, evening, weekend, and on or off-campus classes.

Hiring Range: $40,170- 53,970
