Position Responsibilities:
The Department of Educational Leadership in the School of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty beginning in Summer 2022. Adjunct faculty may teach online or face-to-face graduate courses in educational leadership and practice and integrate multicultural approaches and perspectives into instructional methods. The adjunct faculty pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, and you may resubmit your application for subsequent years.
Position duties include:
1) Meet all designated course instruction guidelines
2) Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner
3) Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
4) Submit final grades according to School policy
Required Qualifications:
Terminal degree in education (Ph.D. or Ed.D.), A combination of professional experience and/or content knowledge related to k12 leadership/policy, higher education leadership/policy, and/or general leadership/policy.
Salary Range: 1,200 per credit
