Essential Duties:

Works closely with the Associate Director of Sponsored Programs and writes, edits, and proofreads text of contracts and grants including reorganizing content for better flow, rewording for clarity, and editing to comply with APA or other style guidelines.

Works closely with the Assessment Coordinator on writing and editing data and reports relevant to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness including but not limited to assessment reports and accreditation reports.

Ensures proposals and grant reports are submitted on time and maintain the highest quality.

Establishes and maintains realistic timelines for proposal submissions.

Researches and identifies grant opportunities that support programs and initiatives and match priorities with grant opportunities.

Coordinates the development of interdepartmental proposals. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrate ability to follow set policies and procedures, including the safeguard of confidential materials.
  • Interpret data and reports relevant to office
  • Ability to manage files and records.
  • Demonstrate thoughtful and appropriate oral and written communication in daily interactions.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications including Banner, and various database and software programs.
