Opening Details

Williams College Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce the creation of two HR Business Partner positions. These critical roles will provide consultation to managers and staff on a myriad of employee relations and professional development issues to help achieve departmental goals and expand leadership capacity. The Business Partners also work with managers to facilitate the implementation of organization-level HR strategies at the department level, ensuring compliance with applicable law.

Business Partner support takes a wide variety of forms, including assistance with transactions, straightforward answers to questions, supplying new ideas, tactics, strategies, and approaches to managing staff, facilitating communication, or challenging managers to move to higher levels of leadership performance. One Business Partner will be responsible for reinvigorating and leading a robust learning and development program; the other will have an employee relations focus.

We are attuned to the strength and value that diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives brings to the college community. Equitable and inclusive practices transform the way we serve and engage our community and must be the lens through which we view all of our work.
