Job Description:

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences (UTCOMLS) seeks 3 full-time Physician Assistants to join our faculty team as we are expanding our academic and clinical enterprise. The successful candidates will provide a blend of Inpatient & outpatient direct patient care and education to Physician Assistant students and other learners in both settings. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Certification to practice as a Physician Assistant issued by the State of Ohio Board
  • Current unencumbered license in the State of Ohio as a Physician Assistant
  • BLS certified.
  • Prescriptive Authority
  • Ability to teach and mentor Physician Assistant students as well as other type of learners.
  • Practices within the national standards specific to specialty, for Physician Assistants and
    as identified in the Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills necessary.
  • On call may be required. May work all shifts and weekends.
  • Promotes a spirit of teamwork through effective Communication, cooperation, and
    collaboration.
