Major/Essential Functions

Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Duties will be split between the Lubbock VA Clinic at 7/8th employment and 12.5% employment with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC).

Responsibilities for the Lubbock VA Clinic include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Management of hematology/oncology patients in the outpatient, inpatient consult, and telehealth setting.

Responsibilities for the TTUHSC position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Inpatient Hem/Onc consult service
• Outpatient Hem/Onc clinic at the UMC Cancer Center
• Supervising residents and fellows and service in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide lectures and conferences for residents, fellows, and medical students
• Conducts and publishes peer reviewed clinical research
