Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

 

The Opportunity

 

Boise State University seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (VPSAEM). The new VPSAEM must be a highly skilled, experienced, and innovative executive who will serve as the University’s chief strategist on all    matters related to student services and enrollment of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The Vice President reports directly to the President and serves as the institutional advocate for students and student services. In addition, the position is responsible for leading institutional initiatives related to student affairs and enrollment: student success and retention, recruitment, and post-graduate outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • A doctorate preferred or an exceptional combination of master’s degree and relevant accomplishments in an area such as higher education administration or an academic field;
  • Minimum of five to eight years of senior level experience in student affairs with progressively responsible experiences within student affairs division;
  • Demonstrated successful record of administration including strategic planning, budgeting, resource management, student information systems, program assessment, and program development; and
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills, ability to communicate with transparency and clarity
