Fairleigh Dickinson University seeks applicants for an Assistant / Associate Professor within the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (FDU SoP&HS).  Faculty candidate should have a broad understanding of the practice of pharmacy to be able to teach various pharmacotherapeutic topics and have additional expertise in drug information, research design or public health.   Effective teaching is the core mission of the university.  The FDU School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences prepares future pharmacists and other health care professionals for diverse roles across the health care continuum through a culture of learning, scholarship, innovation, advocacy, and leadership.  The School hosts additional health sciences programs, including Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (PA), Master of Social Work (MSW), and post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy (DOT).   

The faculty position is a full-time, 12-month tenure track appointment (rank and salary commensurate with skills and experience).  The position is School-based and does not carry clinical practice teaching or responsibilities.  Faculty members are expected to support the FDU School of Pharmacy mission and vision through teaching in the professional pharmacy curriculum, developing a research agenda within their discipline and providing service to the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and University at large.  Teaching assignment will primarily be at the pharmacy program, with majority of courses taught in-person at the School's Florham Park campus; teaching in other health science programs via in-person or on-line modality will also be expected as needed.
