The School of Humanities and Sciences is creating a pool of qualified part-time lecturers in the Art Department for possible openings in the Fall and Spring of Academic Year 2021-2022. We seek candidates to teach courses at various levels, including introductory, in the disciplines of painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, graphic design, and digital media (note: photography is housed in the Park School of Communications, not the Art Department). The Art Department offers degrees in Art and Art Education and minors in Art and Graphic Design. Successful applicants must hold an MFA, MA, or Ph.D. degree in the field, and college teaching experience is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered, depending on course and level.
