Position Summary

The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia invites applications
for an Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide support for assessment of the college’s veterinary curriculum with an emphasis on student learning outcomes and evidence-based curricular improvements. This individual will oversee the administration and analysis of of measures of curricular and student outcomes, compile reports to meet accreditation requirements, and assist college faculty and administration in curricular design and improvements based on current literature, assessments and identified outcomes. The successful candidate will also provide support and training to faculty and engage in educational research independently and/or collaboration with others.

The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, equipped with the most technologically advanced facilities located on a university campus, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. Advises CVM on assessment and program evaluation. Assists in AVMA accreditation. Conducts independent research. Advises CVM on admissions standards and practices. Administration and analysis of measures of curricular and student outcomes; compile reports to meet accreditation requirements. Develops and organizes training sessions and other campus events related to outcomes assessment.
