Position Summary

THE UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO SCHOOL OF LAW, SUNY invites applications for a full-time two-year faculty position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for an individual who plans to pursue an academic career in law, and to address the issue of racial justice through scholarship and teaching.

The successful candidate will teach a core legal subject and develop a course in the area of racial justice, prepare one or more scholarly works for publication, and meet regularly with mentors to make progress in professional development. The Law School encourages applications from candidates prepared to contribute, through research, teaching, and service, to a diverse and inclusive community of inquiry.

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent academic background, including J.D. or higher law degree. Evidence of research potential and of potential for successful teaching.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional professional, research or teaching experience.
