Job Details
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Develops and implements a long-term strategic plan for the Center aligned with the strategic plan for the University... Works directly with the Dean on issues related to undergraduate initiatives for Spanish speakers with all levels of English proficiency and strategic academic goals. 2. Provides principal leadership in defining the mission, vision, and goals of the Center. 3. Serves as the primary representative of the Hispanic Center in the Maxwell Becton College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. 4. Actively fosters relationships with New Jersey's Latino communities including developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with state and local officials, businesses, and non-profit organizations that serve these communities.
5. Works with Center's Director of Academic Programs to plan and oversee all academic programming offered through the Center. 6. Identifies, cultivates, and promotes strong ties with potential donors and sources of funding. 7. Develops, implements, and monitors marketing and media campaigns to promote the Center's programs in New Jersey. 8. Plans and oversees all programming offered through the Center. 9. Collaborates with the Office of Admissions to develop an admissions and recruitment strategy for the Center. 10. Creates and implements effective advising and student support services to promote retention. 11. Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean of Maxwell Becton College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
