JOB SUMMARY:
Clemson University's Development Marketing Department is looking for a Development Communications Coordinator to fulfill the following duties:
JOB DUTIES:
45% - Essential - Project Management:
Sets up and sends mass emails using email softwares and fundraising database. Communicates schedules and cost estimates to clients and solicits their approvals while collaborating with team members to ensure that projects are delivered correctly, on time and in keeping with University and divisions brand guidelines and goals. Provides support for other Clemson Forward creative team members as needed.
40% - Essential - Communications and Marketing:
Collaborates with Clemson Advancement team members to produce communications and marketing materials to support fundraising that are highly targeted, well designed, appropriate and motivational to the target audience. Researches, plans, interviews, writes, edits, schedules and delivers the creation of digital and printed materials in support of the fundraising efforts of individual University units, project needs and University wide priorities, including publications, presentations, ads, profiles, online messages, social media messaging, presentations, events and numerous other materials.
10% - Essential - Departmental Support:
Adheres to departmental job management, quaility control and brand standards. Actively supports Mar/Com and Events team members with additional project needs. Provides support and maintenance of online marketing toollkit. Willingly participates in communication and marketing projects as assigned by supervisor or department director.
5% - Essential - Web Content Support:
Supports with developing content for the giving website, collaborating on its organization and content.

Work Experience - Position requires strong writing skills and basic design knowledge working with templates in Adobe Creative Suite products. Reports to Director of Marketing for Advancement.
