Employer Engagement Specialist

Job Details



Engages in community outreach and develops partnerships with employers that generate job opportunities, apprenticeships, and internships for students and alumni.

Develops and maintains executive-level strategic relationships and serves as the client representative for a portfolio of regional employers to understand current and future workforce needs and develop a hiring pipeline for STLCC graduates.

Tracks program participants and outcomes; engages the full spectrum of STLCC academic and student affairs resources to resolving problems and create a smooth pathway to employment.

Works closely with Career Development and faculty to facilitate the exchange of information regarding career competencies and opportunities for students.

Participates in employer recruiting activities such as career/job fairs, recruiting activities, workshops, and educational programs.

Develops promotional materials, conducts group presentations, and engages with workforce and economic development organizations as appropriate.
