Teach introductory Communication courses such as Oral Communication and Public Speaking. Could possibly include Introduction to Mass Communication. Instructors will be responsible for the instruction for all assigned classes, evaluation and assignment of grades, maintenance of student attendance and records, and use of successful teaching methods. Instructors are required to meet all scheduled classes and hold office hours. Instructors should hold all classes with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people, styles, and views. This position usually would staff daytime classes that meet on-campus.

Primary Duties Performed:

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in the subject field or a master’s degree with at least eighteen (18) approved graduate semester hours in the subject field and related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

College-level teaching experience

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience and education
