Position Duties and Responsibilities

Will provide extensive customer service regarding course materials and other bookstore related products. Online fulfillment of web orders – picking, processing, packing and shipping during peak back to school rush periods.

All in-store transactions are processed through a point of sale system which requires knowledge of computer systems. Assist the coordinator with duties including but not limited to stocking, seasonal merchandising, and annual inventory. Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school degree.
• May consider students enrolled in concurrent high school/college programs.
• The candidate must be self-disciplined, able to work independently with an eye for detail and be able to problem solve as needed.
• This position requires you to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Computer knowledge needed to work within inventory and sales applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree preferred.
• Prior experience attending or familiarity with the community college setting.
• Prior merchandising or marketing experience would be an asset. Have the ability to learn and assume additional duties as needed.
• Cashier experience.

Salary Range

$15.00 Per Hour
