Responsibilities
This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice Provost/Registrar, the position analyzes, consults, and processes incoming student, faculty information and serves as a key customer services representative for the office. The position is an important backup in all phases of the academic scheduling processes.

Customer Service: Analyzes, evaluates and processes incoming student and faculty requests in a timely and efficient manner; assists in in the coordination and organization of pre-registration and drop/add activities; provides academic transcripts; answers multiple telephone requests and provides information requests in a prompt, accurate and customer focused manner including enrollment and course scheduling information. Ensure that current regulations and procedures are communicated to students, staff and faculty.

Document Processing: On-demand processing of transcript requests for students, Diploma processing, process Special Action Petitions for student evaluations. Processing Independent Study/Internship Petitions. Processes incoming Education and Degree Verification requests. Processes Grade Change Petitions, Declaration of Major Petitions, and ensures Academic Evaluations are updated and accurate.
Commencement Support: Process all vendor contracts for commencement weekend activities. Assists with Grad Fairs and additional logistics during the commencement weekend. Organizes and distributes academic regalis to students participating in commencement.

Other duties as assigned: daily logs, regoff e-mail account. Assist with TCAs. Assist with implementations of technology

Experience and Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: REQUIRED: AA PREFERRED: BA

Experience: Minimum two years experience in similar setting or in higher education highly desirable; strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Datatel Colleague student system highly desirable.

Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated excellence in using Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Google Documents, knowledge of document imaging systems preferred, strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
