Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

Summary:
Utah Valley University is seeking to hire a full-time warehouse technician. This role manages the daily operations of the warehouse, which includes but is not limited to, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency and three years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to three years. Technical or vocational degree may substitute for experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of warehouse methodology.
• Skills in ordering, receiving, cataloging, disbursing, and inventorying supplies, equipment, goods, etc.
• Skills in computers and computer application, including Word, Excel and integrated database systems.
• Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to package products for shipment or delivery.
• Ability to operate a forklift, van, floor jacks, and other equipment associated with the warehouse.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with an Associate’s degree and two years of experience related to the summary of duties; or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.

Physical Requirements:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Pay Range: $29,461-$36,827
