The salary range for this position is $42,000 – $54,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience, specialty, and training.

Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Curriculum and Catalog, the Curriculum and Reporting Specialist will assist with the day-to-day operations of curriculum, catalog, and reporting processes and needs. This position will work closely with the Director to facilitate the flow and status of the curriculum proposals and answer basic questions and queries from faculty and staff. Additionally, this position will play a key role in the completion of various compliance reporting needs and support the record keeping processes of curriculum databases and archives. The role will assist the Director of Curriculum and Catalog by providing administrative assistance for workshops, trainings, and other events as needed and co-facilitate as appropriate. Finally, this position will assist the Director with various administrative tasks as they are needed such as fact-gathering, document and materials creation and updating, and other items as needed. Duties/Responsibilities
Coordinating Curriculum (15%)
Supports the Director with management of the flow of curriculum through the annual curriculum cycle. Assists with maintaining records of submissions, acts as one of the points of contact for general queries, helps with general troubleshooting. Aids with form creation and maintenance and management of committee and user data.
Record Keeping (20%)
Conducts the upkeep of curricular records and provides data and/or records when requested. Considers overall record structure and granular record data and ensures data is accurate and consistent.
Report Maintenance (20%)
Contributes to the update of a variety of reporting processes and audit records for accuracy. Reports may be for internal needs or for external compliance requirements. Considers current systems of information management and their efficacy and makes recommendations for more efficient or accurate processes.
Compliance Processes (25%)
Coordinates compliance processes such as the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act ( WIOA ) and Eligible Training Provider List program information including the addition or removal of programs and the general maintenance of the existing programs. Works with departments to determine WIOA -appropriate programs. Adheres to state requirements of reporting data and keeps all programmatic information fully updated and accurate. Facilitates the National Council – State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements information and disclosure processes in conjunction with other departments and the online programs office as needed. Assists with other compliance processes as needed and requested.
Catalog Assistance (5%)
Assists in the creation processes of the annual catalogs and catalog addendums as needed and determined by the Director.
Resources, Training, and Support (10%)
Supports training workshops or events by providing administrative support and attendance as a co-facilitator when needed. Provides general administrative support for the curriculum processes and Director as needed. Acts as a back-up for the Director to represent the curriculum branch of the Curriculum, Academic Effectiveness, and Policy Development Office in meetings, functions, and communications when needed.
Other Duties as needed/assigned (5%) Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Competency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and task management
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with record keeping processes at any level
  • Experience working in an office or professional setting

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in higher education
  • Experience creating and/or managing databases
  • Experience with any type of compliance work
Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. While this is expected to be an in person position, this role offers the flexibility of some remote work opportunities and hybrid schedules (to be negotiated with the finalist).
