The University of Houston’s College of Optometry seeks outstanding optometrists with interest and experience in outpatient primary and perioperative eyecare to join the Clinical Sciences Department. Clinical experience should include perioperative care, primary clinical eyecare, and ocular disease management. Teaching experience related to evidence-based clinical practice and interprofessional / collaborative practice settings is preferred. Clinical Science Department faculty are responsible for clinical teaching, patient care, service and scholarship related to their program area. Successful candidates must be eligible for optometric licensure in the state of Texas. This is an open-rank, clinical non-tenure track faculty position.

Qualifications :
Successful applicants must have an OD degree and should have completed a residency/fellowship program or have equivalent relevant clinical, academic, or other experience. Applicants should have experience with clinical teaching and mentoring.
