Perform intake duties in high-volume office serving Counseling Center. Duties include responding to walk-in traffic, providing general information to students, prospective students and community members; entering data using computerized log-in system; effectively managing faculty appointments.

Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year of secretarial or related work experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Ability to type accurately
  • Ability to sit behind a desk for three or more hours at a time
  • General computer knowledge required (i.e. appointment software, Microsoft Outlook)

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • General knowledge of office procedures
  • Experience dealing with networked computer systems
