Perform intake duties in high-volume office serving Counseling Center. Duties include responding to walk-in traffic, providing general information to students, prospective students and community members; entering data using computerized log-in system; effectively managing faculty appointments.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of secretarial or related work experience
required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to type accurately
- Ability to sit behind a desk for three or more hours at a
time
- General computer knowledge required (i.e. appointment software,
Microsoft Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications - Comfortable learning new technology
- General knowledge of office procedures
- Experience dealing with networked computer systems
