Seattle University College of Nursing invites applications for faculty for tenure-track (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) or non-tenure-track (Instructor, Assistant Clinical, Associate Clinical, Full Clinical Professor) to teach in the BSN and DNP programs to begin September 1, 2022. Position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

We seek outstanding educators and scholars with clinical expertise in one of the following areas: Psychiatric- Mental Health Nursing (both generalist and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner), Maternity/Midwife, Population Health, Care Systems Leadership, Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult/Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Pediatrics and Medical-Surgical Nursing. Applicants will have opportunities to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.

Tenure track faculty responsibilities include teaching, research/scholarship, and service. Clinical professorial track faculty responsibilities include teaching, clinical scholarship, and service. Instructor responsibilities include teaching and service.

Required: A research or professional doctorate is required for all tenure-eligible and/or clinical professorial positions. A Master’s degree in nursing is required for appointment as an Instructor. Applicants must be eligible for Washington State licensure as a registered nurse. Advanced practice applicants must be eligible for licensure as an ARNP in Washington State.
