Coordinator - Web Development - Web & Marketing Comm

Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

Summary:
This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Engagement within the division of Institutional Advancement (IA). This position will enable and ensure accurate and current information is available on IA and UVU giving websites. This position liaises with key stakeholders to curate, facilitate, edit, implement, schedule, and develop content for a variety of platforms (including but not limited to the web and marketing channels). The role evaluates marketing communications to measure impact and continuously improve alignment with university and division messaging. Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge
In-depth knowledge and experience with websites and best practices.Experience with developing and publishing web content based upon responsivedesign principles. Fluency in SEO principles and implementation standards.Proficiency in graphic design and expert knowledge of Adobe CS and othergraphic software.Experience in A/B testing and optimization of content for conversion.Knowledge and experience with project management within a professionalproduction setting.Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards.
Skills
Excellent writing and editing skills.Excellent project management skills.Communicate clearly and exercise effective problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making skills where a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Abilities
Ability to adhere to university web standards, policies, and procedures.Ability to effectively manage time to complete tasks on schedule.Ability to resolve problems by thinking logically, identifying tasks, and developing modular programming steps.Ability to maintain currency with industry standards and trends through professional development and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional 2 years of experience in marketing and/or communications.

Physical Requirements:
This position performs work in a standard office setting.

Pay Range: $49,384 - $61,730 DOE
