Job Summary:

The UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) is looking for an experienced clinical research professional with a proven track record of excellence in clinical trial administration to serve on the management team of the Clinical Research Central Office (CRCO). The Pod Manager will provide administrative leadership to one or more Disease-Oriented Teams (DOT), working directly with DOT faculty leaders and CRCO leadership to execute program goals. The specific area of focus for this position is in Phase I and Theranostics clinical trials, working with all cancer types. The incumbent will oversee a large staff dedicated to supporting oncology clinical trials activities, including study activation, coordination, and compliance. The incumbent must be effective at building interpersonal relationships with constructive interactions, both within the team(s) they oversee and with sponsors, Investigators, colleagues, and other collaborators. They must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work independently using initiative and good judgment. Work experience should demonstrate flexibility, dependability, independence, maturity and the ability to work well under pressure with competing priorities.

Education:

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years' experience in clinical research required
- Oncology experience strongly preferred
- Prior supervision of full-time staff required
- Project management experience preferred
