Major Duties:

- Teach up to 12 credits in the fall and spring for a total of no more than 24 credits of regularly scheduled courses or their equivalent over an academic year depending on faculty rank.
- Fulfill curriculum development as part of normal workload.
- Fulfill bargaining unit workload requirements with equivalent administrative work.
- Serve as a resource for the college by participating in service work related to various
- committees, professional societies and community organizations.
- Be available to assist students with course advising, orientation and individual mentoring.
- Encourage and support student involvement in student organizations and internships.
- Support the diverse curricula by maintaining appropriate qualifications, and proficiencies.
- Maintaining relevant relationships with the aviation industry and community.
- Continued relevant work in the area of professional recognition.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a related area from an accredited institution.
- Background in the aviation field in one or more of the following: management, airports, operations, finance, supply chain management, safety, security, human factors, or accident investigation.
- Significant related work experience.
- Excellent communication skills including computer skills.

- Earned doctorate from an accredited institution.
- Collegiate teaching experience.
- FAA flight, maintenance, AGI, IGI and/or dispatcher certification.
