The Assistant Director for Outreach, Recruitment and Diversity represents our intentional commitment to these ideals. The successful candidate will help us to make an impact across the region and beyond and to ensure all students have equitable access to post-secondary education and the necessary tools to complete their programs and be prepared for life and work. Primary Responsibilities
  • Serves on the Admissions Leadership Team and supervises recruitment staff members & student assistants.
  • Collaborative direction and leadership of recruitment and yield initiatives and targeted marketing action plans for diverse and underrepresented students/families
  • Work closely with Divisions within Enrollment Degree Management ( EDM ) Academic College partners and special admissions programs.
  • Cultivate key contacts in the community that support diverse and underrepresented learners & serves as the liaison with NKU’s Black Alumni Council, Center for Student Inclusiveness and trains volunteers
  • Develops and implements training modules and materials for admission staff members and key offices that serve students
  • Executes annual outreach reports and ad-hoc reporting as requested from the Senior Director of Admissions, AVP for Enrollment and Financial Assistance and VP for Enrollment Management
  • Position is responsible for meeting application, admit and enrollment targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum two years of related work experience.

Excellent communication skills and superior customer service experience.

Experience and interest in working with prospective students and parents to promote higher education.

Extremely detail orientated, diplomatic with an ability to exercise discretion and maintain privacy, critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, prepare and deliver professional presentations.

Must have ability to make accurate and deliberate decisions in an often-high volume work environment.

Candidates with excellent knowledge of the Spanish language and bilingual skills are encouraged to apply for this position.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
