Job Description:

Champlain College is seeking a customer-focused Student Account Representative.  This role works in collaboration with the Accounts Payable team to provide high-level customer service in responding to Student/Parent inquiries related to Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, and related topics. Customer service is provided via phone, email, and in-person. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable -the Student Accounts Rep will be responsible for all aspects of their assigned group.
  • Provide timely service and responses to phone and email messages received.
  • Work diligently in identifying at-risk student accounts based on the Accounts Receivable Reports. Working to resolve these accounts in a timely manner.
  • Account collections

 

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Processing federal and institutional aid in alignment with federal regulations
  • Posting cash received 
  • Collaboration with other departments as needed
  • Overseeing student employees
  • Assisting with cyclical projects that arise as the academic year progresses


Requirements:

  • Customer service skills
  • Credit Check required 
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience

The successful completion of a criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.
