Assistant Professor of Graphic Design

Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Visual Arts & Design invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Graphic Design (Tenure-Track position), beginning Fall 2022.
Duties will include teaching all levels of Graphic Design at the undergraduate level, including print and internet design, motion design, digital applications, and design history, maintain computer design lab, have an active studio practice through production and exhibition of artwork, conduct academic advisement of students, and perform University service as requested. Preferred candidates should have University teaching experience. A completed MFA by the first day of employment in required. College level teaching experience preferred. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
M.F.A. Degree in Graphic Design.
Active exhibition record showing an ongoing commitment to studio practice.
Ability to teach all levels of graphic Design at the undergraduate level, able to teach the history of graphic design, and knowledge of contemporary design practices.
Successful candidates should have a strong studio practice in graphic design.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College teaching Experience beyond graduate program.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Able to maintain graphic design facility.
Expert at Adobe Suit programs.
