Job Summary:
We are the Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Medicine & Public Health, and we are seeking a qualified Executive Assistant to join our team and help to provide administrative support to the Radiology Department Chair. The successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively to provide support to chair in areas of clinical, research and teaching. The successful applicant will also be able to manage independent projects of a confidential nature for the whole of the department.
This position must show confidentiality and professionalism regarding all written or oral interactions and information. By the nature and location of this position, the individual is privy to confidential records and conversations that directly affect the employer-employee relationships.

-Strong interpersonal skills, including superior verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to be meticulous and pay attention to details.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality.
-Ability to work independently, as well as function effectively in a team and with a diverse group of people.
-Ability to adapt to new and challenging situations.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with office colleagues, faculty, staff, university officials, and the public.
-Proficient software knowledge and expertise: Windows, Microsoft Suite, electronic forms, web/internet, etc.
-Preference will be given to candidates experienced in supporting senior-level executives.
-Administrative experience in a higher education or senior executive setting preferred.
