The School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Assistant Professor in Arabic Studies. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the broad field of Arabic Studies and we are particularly eager to hear from applicants with a research interest and expertise in (comparative) literary, cultural and/or visual studies, as well as translation studies. The appointment is tenable on a non-fixed-term basis from 1 September 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.
