The Program in Neuroscience at Smith College invites applications for a one-year, benefits eligible position, with the possibility of renewal, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2022. Teaching responsibilities for this position will include five courses in the neuroscience curriculum, to include a seminar in Neuroscience in the Public Eye, a first-year seminar, co-teaching an introductory course in Fundamentals of Neuroscience, and advanced courses in the candidate’s field of specialization. Ph.D. is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates with experience teaching or an interest in a career at a primarily undergraduate institution (PUI) or liberal arts college are encouraged to apply. Candidates from groups underrepresented in the sciences are especially encouraged to apply.
