Full Time Faculty, Bible/Theology;

Assistant Professor of New Testament & Greek

 

Position Description:

Full-time faculty with a course load of 24 credits per year, teaching in the undergraduate and seminary Bible & Theology programs. Additional responsibilities include teaching Greek language courses, academic advising, and university service. Area of specialization is open, appropriate preparation for Greek language instruction is essential.

 

Minimum Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of a Ph.D. (ABD will be considered), and a desire to teach and mentor students. Teaching experience is preferred. Applicants are expected to have relevant professional experiences in the field and ongoing research interests. Support of the University mission and doctrinal statement is required.

 

The preferred candidate will have experience teaching in a variety of modalities, a strong interest in faith integration, and an active research interest that could potentially involve students.

Multnomah University includes undergraduate and graduate programs as well as Multnomah Biblical Seminary located in Portland, OR. All programs are coeducational and interdenominational. Compensation:

Compensation commensurate with education and experience. Compensation includes Full time benefits, including medical & dental options, vision, life, short and long-term disability policies beginning the first day of the month following one month of employment.
