The ITS Associate Director of Learning Environments and Media Production ( LEMP ) will utilize outstanding communication, technical, and project management skills, and an entrepreneurial approach to, support and enrich various types of high-profile events across campus and ensure high-quality content creation. The Associate Director will be responsible for all aspects of events in supported venues including: planning, schedule, coordination, staffing, accessibility, technology needs and on-site support. The role will also help manage infrastructure and coordinate lifecycle of technology in supported facilities. The Associate Director will also coordinate efforts in direct support of the academic mission including classroom technology training, course content production, classroom recordings and studio operations. The Associate Director will have a working knowledge of live video and audio production, theater production, live event support, lecture capture, CART support, PA systems, Electronic Architecture systems, studio infrastructure and a general understanding of A/V technology. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Computer Science or related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience.
Job Specific Qualifications
  • Broad knowledge of audio and video production equipment operation and distribution, media production and live event support.
  • Broad knowledge of video production.
  • Managing all aspects of academic media production efforts including: production, filming, editing, planning, scheduling, coordination, staffing, accessibility, training, studio facilities, technology needs, and on-site support.
  • Managing all aspects of events in supported venues including: planning, schedule, coordination, staffing, accessibility, training, technology needs and on-site support.
  • Infrastructure management. Lifecycle planning and assisting with budget planning. Resource planning and scheduling.
  • Supervise team of full-time staff and student employees who provide academic media production and event support services.
  • Continually update technical skills and knowledge. Identify and advise Director and Learning Environments team members of trends in event production and support.
