Overview

Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, the Development Coordinator/Donor Concierge (DC) will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the execution of the Getty Patron Program; providing concierge services to the Getty donor community (high level Patron Program constituents, Founder's Society Members, Getty Fund donors, and Corporate Partners), and providing administrative support for the Director of Individual Giving or other administrative support, as assigned. This position is full time on-site (non-remote) at the Getty Center.

The Development Coordinator/Donor Concierge works independently with minimal supervision in a very fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities. The DC excels at handling multiple tasks, anticipates and proactively resolves problems, is a team player, and is flexible and adaptable. The DC delivers excellent customer service and partners with other support staff and colleagues. Handles classified and delicate work with a high level of discretion, good judgement, accuracy, and attention to detail.



Responsibilities

    Responds to inquiries from donors and donor prospects for information, requiring knowledge of Development department activities, policies, and procedures. Serves as contact for donor community; provide timely responses including processing timed visits and securing parking reservations. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the patrons@getty.edu email account. May be assigned periodically to “information desk” to distribute Patron Program materials and provide information directly to visitors. Provides support for annual donor solicitations and renewals – develop spreadsheets, prepare mailings, track results. Writes reports and enters data into the donor database reflecting donor communication and requests. Supports development events with pre-event logistics including invitations, invitation lists, recording RSVPs in CRM (Raiser's Edge), corresponding with guests, and guest entry, in addition to day-of tasks, including logistical support, registration, and check-in. Monitors related internal project budgets, prepares and submits reports, as requested. Ensures accurate maintenance of files and records. As part of a broader team, reviews and provides feedback on a variety of correspondence, reports, confidential documents and/or forms, and related materials for donor communications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-4 years related experience, preferably in an arts, cultural or educational institution.
