Assistant Professional of Chemistry

The Department of Biology and Chemistry at Texas A&M International University seeks an Assistant Professional (nontenure-track, 9-month teaching position) in the area of chemistry to begin Fall 2022.

Job Duties:

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to teaching in introductory lectures and laboratories in Chemistry for science majors and non-majors. Prepares and utilizes a course syllabus and assessments for each course using guidelines established by the institution.

Required Qualifications:

An earned PhD degree in Chemistry or closely related field.

9 months of teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Computer skills.
