with common trust as our foundation.

our understanding of ourselves and the world

The school seeks a full-time math teacher for students in grades 9 – 12 with experience teaching an array of courses ranging from algebra to calculus. Candidates with interest in or experience teaching math electives outside of the traditional sequence of math courses are especially encouraged to apply. Such courses might include non-calculus based electives and/or post-calculus advanced topics classes. Our course catalog details examples of the range of courses that have been taught in the department. For interested candidates, the position may also include individual tutoring support as part of the school’s Academic Support Center. The successful candidate will be an innovative educator with great enthusiasm for working with adolescents and appreciation for collaborating with colleagues. Applicants should have significant coursework in a relevant subject.

The school provides a competitive benefits package and salary is commensurate with experience. All faculty members at Concord Academy participate fully in the life of the school; responsibilities include advising, serving on committees and/or clubs, and periodically providing an adult presence at school events. Coaching an athletic team is welcomed but not required and is remunerated separately. On-campus housing may be available, but it is limited, and faculty members are not required to live at the school.

In order to promote health in our school community, employees are required to be fully immunized against COVID-19 upon employment, unless a medical or religious exemption applies.

Interested candidates are asked to send a cover letter, resume, and transcripts via the ADP portal addressed to: Justin Bull, Interim Dean of Faculty
