Summary:


This position provides program/ project coordination, and supports key initiatives for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program to achieve goals and objectives established by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
It supports the daily operations of the program, provides research support, and oversees the data entry and maintenance of the CF Patient Registry.

Typical Duties

Sevres as data registry coordinator. Responsibilities will include timely entry of required information into CF Registry, coordinating with CF team on data collection, QI projects and reporting.
Provides administrative support in the area of research. Works with PI and admin staff to meet deadlines, compiles and submits documentation, reports and proposals.
Provides administrative support to the CF Team, including calendar maintenance, meeting scheduling, taking minutes and dispersing information, office support, space maintenance, and other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Strong written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to communicate effectively in written procedures and development of user guidelines.
Ability to work both collaboratively (as part of a team), and independently, multitask, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Proficiency and knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office products, Google Suite applications, Dropbox, Zoom, email, web browsers and standard office equipment and technology
Excellent customer service.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
Excellent program coordination skills and ability to lead Quality Improvement initiative with in multi-disciplinary clinical team comprise of nurse, respiratory therapist, dietician, social worker with director of CF center
Excellent Data management, entry and analytic skills for CF registry to assess progress over time, focus QI initiatives and improve patient outcomes for outpatients and in -patients
Excellent Administrative skills with ability to record meeting minutes, facilitate meeting and coordinate all CF center administrative tasks with Director.

E xcellent grant management skills and ability to coordinate grant submission per deadlines set forth with Director



Preferred Education and Experience

Previous experience in a University setting
Experience with complex data entry
Experience supporting projects
