Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for multiple
nine-month, tenure track Assistant, Associate or Professor faculty
- Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology
- Molecular and Cellular Biology
We are seeking to recruit a diverse cohort of scientists
studying important problems with biomedical
relevance. These positions are available for candidates
with research programs in microorganism or parasite chemical
biology, infection, or drug discovery and will begin August

Successful candidates are expected to establish an extramurally
funded research program in microorganism or parasite chemical
biology, infection, or drug discovery. Research programs will
seek to understand microorganisms or parasites using functional,
phenotypic, chemical, genetic, and structure-based methods to
identify infection pathways or lead to drug treatments.

Teaching responsibilities (undergraduate and graduate) will be
in one of five departments (Chemistry and Biochemistry; Molecular
and Cellular Biology; Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology;

Required Qualifications Include
- An earned doctorate, or its foreign equivalent, in Biology,
Biochemistry, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics or a
closely related discipline
- Post-doctoral research experience
- A record of peer-reviewed publications (or accepted

Preferred Qualifications Include
