Job Summary

The College of Sciences and Mathematics ( COSAM ) at Auburn University is seeking a Director of Student and Career Services. This position will direct and coordinate student advising, services, and programs for COSAM .

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Providing leadership and oversight for the offices of Academic Advising, Pre-Health Programs, Career Development and Coaching, and Scholarship and Recruitment; Conducting assessments for all reporting units; Administering and assisting with the development of academic policy and procedure; Planning for innovation and continual growth in student-related programming within reporting units; Representing COSAM to outside groups, committees, prospective students, high schools, and parents. Full supervision for other employees is a major responsibility and includes training, evaluating, and making or recommending pay, promotion, or other employment decisions.
