Assistant Professor of Management, Booth School of Business

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: 9-month, Tenure Track position

PRIMARY DUTY:  A nine-month, tenure-track faculty position responsible for teaching introductory and upper-level, as well as graduate, courses in management. Those with a background in teaching human resources and international management are especially encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Teach a twelve hour per trimester load (fall and spring) including undergraduate and graduate management courses
2. Complete research leading to publication in peer reviewed journals
3. Participate in University service, including committee work at the School and University levels
4. Advise students
5. Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
       Education:  ABD in Management from AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution
       Experience:  Prior teaching experience at the college level    

WORKING CONDITIONS:  This position works in a modern academic environment with individual faculty offices.  The School of Business offers undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management.
 
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED:  Faculty are each issued a personal laptop; classrooms are technology-enhanced (document stations, video equipment, Internet access).        
 
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and complete essential classroom functions.
