EMPLOYMENT TERMS: 9-month, Tenure Track
position
PRIMARY DUTY: A nine-month, tenure-track
faculty position responsible for teaching introductory and
upper-level, as well as graduate, courses in management. Those with
a background in teaching human resources and international
management are especially encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Teach a twelve hour per trimester load (fall and spring) including undergraduate and graduate management courses
- Complete research leading to publication in peer reviewed journals
- Participate in University service, including committee work at the School and University levels
- Advise students
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: ABD in
Management from AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution
Experience: Prior
teaching experience at the college level
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position works
in a modern academic environment with individual faculty offices.
The School of Business offers undergraduate degrees in
Business Management and Organizational Behavior/Human Resource
Management.
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED: Faculty are each
issued a personal laptop; classrooms are technology-enhanced
(document stations, video equipment, Internet access).
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up
to 20 pounds and complete essential classroom functions.

School of Business has twenty-four full-time faculty members and
